> I love the Tusken Raiders stuff, Urmur Bile Trax, > some of the early Rephlex and > even the Mike & Rich album (although I'm probably alone here!), but > other things, such as the new album, Lunatic Harness, the Jake > Slazenger album and the Speedy J colaboration don't quite work for me.- -- hey, you're not alone on M&R album. "even the mike&rich album".. bah. that thing is a masterpiece, it doesn't need an "even" prefix. peeps and i really wish they'd do another one. although if so, maybe not go all-out drilly in the process. i have really been liking the slag boom collaboration album.. what doesn't work for you? that is most like his older stuff i think. i like all the stuff you listed up there, though, except some of the tusken raiders. the new album (astronomy) is the most confusing, i think. off the wall, as they say. exciting. i caught a post about a remix type project where no sampling is used, could someone tell me more info about it? we'd be interested in partysippating in that one. i think tom millar mentioned it? the freeform track stands out the most to me on ischemic strokes, along with the sleeve art with which i've started a loving relationship, but i guess the freeform is no surprise. will listen to the rest again though. the kid spatula/jega 12" though, agck!@# first, i didn't bother checking to see if i already had this jega track somewhere, and i should have, because it's on his spectrum album. lame. maybe it's only on the US release of it or something. anyone want to buy this 12"? it's on clear vinyl!! =) bauri saundart#03 with a swedish title CDR i recently got is coolio. please go bother him and check out his music. bye for now christopher === _________________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
