The Pro One was the first analogue synth I ever bought via this very list (since then I've bought a few other things: https://imgur.com/a/0Yi77xf). Despite the crappy keyboard (and mine is the better version apparently, J-Wire I think?) and the cheap build in general it's still one of my favourites for bass. It's got a magical character about it that's more than the sum of its parts, excuse the cliche. I'm not a fan of how Behringer are aping the exact design and layout down to the font. I don't mind the internals being copied, but at least be creative with the presentation. I suppose that's a bit hypocritical of me as I love my RE303, but I get bad vibes from Behringer in general and I get good vibes from Dinsync. Still vibes don't pay the rent I suppose! -Stephen On Wed, 17 Oct 2018 at 18:38, Peter Forrest <xxxxxxxx@xxxxx.xx.xx> wrote: > > Fair enough - we're pretty lucky to have so many options. > > -----Original Message----- > From: Giles Ward [mailto:xxxxx@xxxxxxxxx.xxx] > Sent: 17 October 2018 18:35 > To: 'Analogue Heaven' > Subject: Re: [AH] Behringer Pro 1 > > I wouldn't want an original though.
