I've heard some great music released under the name Motion - one side of a split 12" on Fat Cat, and a remix as part of their e-rmx project. The music consists of beatless, wandering digital constructions, often with some a touch of more trad ambience in the form of fairly straightforward synth tones and warbling sub bass notes. What I've heard reminds me a bit of Mouse On Mars at their weirdest, eg. a few of the tracks on 'Instruementals' or their Microstoria remix. Actually, it's also kind of like Microstoria. I react to it in the same way, anyway - I find it simultaneously edgy and slightly unsettling, but when I'm in the right mood it's also really palatable ambience.
