Man, Ernesto, I am surprised at you. Cookie
Monster is nothing but a Grover fanboy wannabe,
he apes Grover like nobody's business, except
he lacks the emotional palette Grover draws from
that gives his work such a human feeling. listen
to 'Wubba wubba wubba and a woo woo woo' or 'I
am Blue' to know what I'm talking about.. two
complete opposite ends of the emotional spectrum.
Cookie Monster never transcends his own Monsterness,
and indeed, doesn't even seem to recognize it.

And of course, in the early 90s, while Grover was
progressing his style and people realized Cookie Monstrer
was just a one-trick stale-ass-stale knock off,
Cookie Monster made that famous surprisng
and profitable turn of hooking up with all those
death metal bands, where his singing style was
not only appreciated, but copied for years to come.
I don't think Cookie Monster does anything now,
he's probably living large off all the royalties
he gets from Victory Records.
