Yeah, but they were quite the assholes letting us know they decided it
wasn't for them, rather than just checking out quietly. Perhaps it was
just a big raspberry in the face of those drooling fans you speak of.
Though to me it seemed like they were a bit princessy, didn't like to see
their work bashed like that. And maybe this sort of off-subject debating
bothered them. Draw your own conclusion.

OBidm: Listening to the Coldcut mix album "Stoned...Chilled...Groove"
today, paying close attention to it for the first time. Great album.
Anyways, i meant to ask about or just comment on this group "Global
Communication." This song "Maiden Voyage" is just great Reich-like stuff,
IMO, better than Coldcut's "Music for no Musicians" and most (if not all)
of the reinterpretations on the Reich Remixed CD (and i'm wondering why
they weren't offered a spot on the remix CD, if any more of thier stuff is
like this). I know i've read the name on the list before, but i didn't pay
much attention. Anyone wanna point me in the direction of some of their
stuff in the same vein (hopefully in-print and US).

I also found out that Ryoji Ikeda's "+/-" sounds even cooler if listened to
with a "bass boost" feature on, if anyone feels like trying it.
