I have the 120, 121, 122, 134 and 127 filters. My favorite low pass filter for basic subtractive patches is the 122. The 120 is a decent filter, but I have better options available if I want a ladder sound. The 120 never sounded all that moog-like to me. The 122 just seems to work better for me (compared to the 120), but I also seem to be wired to actually like Curtis chips. <gasp!> Probably some imprinting from my childhood. The 127 triple resonance is a lot of fun, but I consider it more of a special effect than a workhorse filter. The 121 multimode is the indispensable doepfer filter if you don't already have one. Nothing special about it, but it is so flexible I find I use it a lot. - matthew
