hi all, thanks to david turgeon for his kind words about the lackluster 'cdr#2' - just a quick note to say that yep, it's all sold out now (all 100 copies gone..) so please don't send us any money for it to the PO Box or try ordering via gemm.com :) thanks to all, esp. those on the idmlist, who ordered it.. one mp3 off it is still around at http://www.mono211.com/monotonik for those who missed it. Also as mentioned, next CD on Monotonik will be from md, called 'between corners', and i'll start sending out promos and giving out info in the next coupla months. This last CD was only really promoted via the idmlist and our existing Net fanbase, but the md one we'll be sending out to all the magazines, etc.. md is another Helsinki-based producer, btw.. mm, gotta love those Finns (and yes, I'm aware of the confusion in a cd by 'md', but I guess we can live with it!) And just so I don't burble along purely about Monotonik stuff like a label whore, should probably point out I was driving into London on Saturday night (to some awful metal/indie club, but that's another story), and Lamb were being interviewed on XFM (London 'indie' radio station). The really amusing bit was when they were told they could pick one track from the latest single to play to finish up and got into quite a big (if jocular!) on-air argument about it (Louise wanted the Bola remix, Andy wanted the Photek remix, Louise insisted that as the Photek remix wasn't actually of 'Softly' Andy couldn't have it, etc.. the DJ faded them out in the end!) Anyhow, the Bola remix is reaaally nice and a little less totally chilled than I imagined - although still pretty laidback! laaater, h0l/m211+toniknullstarz (http://www.mono211.com) np: crunching noise the truck made when it rolled into my car at lunchtime in the car park (ACK!)
