The frac Blacet PSU is +/-15 volts which the frac modules need and euro modules need +/-12 volts which the euro PSU's supply (Doepfer, analogue systems, analogue solutions, etc...) I do not see how frac and euro modules could be powered from the same psu... or put into the same case... (having different dimensions) (ok, some euro modules might be ok with 15 volts power and some frac modules might be ok with 12 volts, but I am no tech and do not know about this...) I would suggest to use a frac rack (and its psu) for frac modules and a euro rack (and its psu) for euro modules. It=92s the best and safest way, IMHO. Finally entered the foray of die neue modulars; and have 2 3u Blacet =20 rack frames, waiting to be filled with some goods.. After winning the stuff on eBay I thought that there was some small =20 hack via pins + voltage [?] to be done to make Eurorack modules live =20 within a Blacet frame / PSU config. But a call just now to Analogue =20 Haven proved me wrong ... apparently there's a major difference with =20 the power pinouts as well.. ? For some reason I was lead to believe =20 otherwise: http://electro-music.com/forum/post-83984.html http://matrixsynth.blogspot.com/2007/03/mfb-goes-modular.html [heavily debated here] If you can shed some light on the subject I'd be grateful. Otherwise =20 I'm going to fill this with Blacet + STG + MOTM modules... +odd No virus found in this incoming message.
