>Both Kranky and Labradford are, for the most part, worthy of their hype.

Guess I forgot about this one when I did my mini-Kranky rundown -
This one's nice (note: the 10" on Constellation is missing a 20
minute track) - very very ennio morricone influenced (like Mi Media
Naranja I guess, but better), vast and dark but not really ambient. Some
pretentious spoken bits that are actually very effective, melodrama,
varied sounds, etc. Better than most recent Kranky (though the Roy
Montgomery/Chris Heaphy is sounding good so far).

ObIDM - just got the Krush/kondo lp "Ki-oku"... a huge disappointment,
and I love Krush's Turntablized and Milight to bitses. This one's just too
laid back, without enough of a groove to keep me interested. Too bad
really; I expected it to be superfantastic.
