No one's insulting Doepfer either, Blacet indeed rocks, as does Doepfer, ASys, MOTM, Modcan etc. The fact that they are all modular synths makes them rock, whatever their differences. I'd disagree about the CV manipualtion though if you are talking about the number of CVable (new word!) parameters on each module, however if you are talking about modules that modify existing CV signals then yes Doepfer wins hands down.
