(for the most part at least, I think iz-us is a cool track, = funny : little man is cool.. and bucepholus has some nice bits,.. but all in = all the : album was obviously not taken seriously in the least by rdj which I = believe is : bullshit.) One could argue that he never took any of his work = seriously, my : advice to those people is to stop listening to what comes out of his = mouth and : simply just pay attention to what his music has to say. gosh now this sounds like a post i read when AE's LP5 came out. somebody turned the album into this Life and Death struggle, when its just music and you either listen and dislike or like to listen. exactly, so what about the video shite that goes along with it (and i usually get a few good head nods out of them.)? and actually i've had that window licker track since it was going around months ago as an MP3, and i thought it was pretty good back then. it definately sounded APHEX. =20 : '...I care beacuse you do' was a very powerful album. You have to = consider the : difference between humor that is part of an album as a whole and humor = that is : purely the purpose of the album. There's a really HUGE difference. i have grown to Like ICBYDo, but i feel just the opposite, as im sure quite a few others do (and don't), that the newer stuff is a bit more random and extreme and dark/light and (yees) humourous. i like smiling and having images swirl through my head as i listen to a song. so what thee hell if an artist isn't all serious and careful? then listen to WSD releases. :) heh. its all in good. --- other people : > although i havent seen or heard the singel yet, i figure=20 : > everything since i care because you do and donkey rhubarb have=20 : > been a joshing bit of humour, still a good bit of substance to the=20 : > music, its not all that seriuos taking a stab at itself, and thats=20 : > exactly why i like it just as much as everything before_ will well i saw the .ram file and the feed quality was fairly crap, and thus i was a little dissapointed in what i saw. i figured if he went as far as he did he might as well have taken it to the max and made a full fledge Porn Music Vid. havn't seen to many of those before. heh. and the song sounds like something that could possibly land radio airplay, but won't. very hip-hop in an aphex sort of way.
