well, I'm not exactly tone *deaf*, but my sense of pitch is dodgy at the
best of times... to me, music should be enjoyed - by the people making it,
by the people listening to it... paying attention to my tuning just shows a
bit of consideration for the people who are sensitive to it, that's all...
but then again, someone made the really good point that it's not always
possible when you're using samples...

I can't tell most of the time... but for me to say that tuning doesn't
matter *at all* 'cos it doesn't bother *me* is just as arrogant as the
musical purist demanding that *all* music conform to the rules...

there's a difference between something being very out of tune/dischordant
which most people can pick up, and something being ever-so-slightly out -
you know, when you're trying for something and don't quite make it... I can
see how that would shit some people...
