Toast doesn't support disk-at-once burns.....when you burn a CD using
Toast, the laser used to cut the disc is momentarily turned off every time
a new track ID is designated, this results is those minute gaps you hear....

Adaptec's Jam software WILL support disk-at-once burns....all one needs to
do to break up a continuous mix into separate tracks is note the time
(ie...1:40:50, etc.) where the different track ID's should be inserted and
enter that into Jam's track listing...there's no need to break the original
file down into separate, smaller files...even better features about Jam are
that it will recognize split stereo files and burns using the Red Book
audio format which is the recording industry's standard for writing CD's,
neither of which Toast can do....Jam used to list for around $280, but I
picked it up from MacMall a few months ago for around $150 or so...well
worth the investment if you're serious about burning audio...
