Definitely -- I admit that Gescom's "Minidisc" was the killer app that persuaded me to buy a deck. I'd been toying with the idea for ages, but needed an excuse. And I needed to upgrade all my hifi equipment anyway, so I got a new MD deck, amp, CD player, radio tuner and turntable (all Sony) at the same time. Of course, I now get my money's worth out of the MD deck by swapping compilations with people, recording radio shows off satellite, etc. I'm even considering getting an MD player for my car -- cassette tapes are just becoming too cumbersome and annoying to use. -- Mark Stevens http://www.sonance.demon.co.uk/
