I picked a the new JAMES RUSKIN - Further Design lp (Blueprint), I thought it was an exceptional techno release. Some of you may be familiar with James Ruskin's releases under the name Outline on Blueprint. Although this is a minimal techno release, the difference with this one is that on several of the songs there are nice melodies. My favorite track is Time & Place. If you see this on the shelf, grab it and take a listen. This hasn't been a year where I have bought alot of techno full-lengths. Some of the best I have bought this year are Luke Slater - Freek Funk (Novamute), Cari Lekebusch - Know for they Because, Surgeon - Balance (Tresor), and James Ruskin - Further Design. PAUL MAC -(Fragmented 005) I think I saw someone post about this one. Although the whole single is pretty good, I really only bought it for one track called Yellow Deal. It was a really great Idm/Detroit type of a track, sounds like Carl Craig was a big influence. Who is this guy? Does he have any other tracks like this? np - John B - Pressure (Formation) _________________________________________________________ DO YOU YAHOO!?
