Can somebody please give me a brief overview of the various Latin beats and rhythms - how they differ from each other, their specific features, time signatures, examples, influences on IDM, etc?? I can think of a few, but there are more - eg. Mamba/ tango / salsa / bossa-nova / samba. Any information gladly received! Oh, and please don't waffle about Jennifer Lopez ;-) I *
