 for the mind-bending noise on the Beautyon disk 
C is for Conemelt and for their 24K
 and for Clear - still untouchable. you GO, Clair! Hooray! 
D is for Dot - Drexciya - Degiorgio - and D.I.A.L.
 for those Decay Product vibes that make minimalists smile
E is for Elypsia - for Electrecords, too
 and for em:t and Empire and his DHR crew
F is for Freeform, Ferox, and Fingerfood's "Broken Dream"s 
 and for Fretless transmissions on those Holistic beams   
G is for Gerd; for GPR's return from god-knows-where  
 for General Magic and Pita and their funky 'frigidair. 
H is for Peter Nice Trio's "Harp of Gold" and other Hospital claims
 for Horse Opera's "Blue Tea," hab, and Hardaway [James]
I is for Irdial - still insane, still sublime
 and for Immerse, Daniel Ibbotson, and the reissued _Green Times_

K is for Karaoke Kalk and Kreidler and Khan

 for x@x, Lowground, Lucid Dream - what a letter! what a feast!
M ... Major Force, Minion, Mego, and Anthony Manning - all great!
 Multiphonic Ensemble, Musik Aus Strom, and - hey Maurizio, where's "#8?!"
N is for NINEBar and Colin Newman - well worth waiting nine years!
 and for Nurse With Wound + violin, which reduced me to tears
O is for Ian O'Brien and for Oval's forthcoming _Dok_
 (which i really shouldn't include but ... oh, what the hell!)
P is for Pantunes Music, Pluto, Pro-Seed, Pacou,
 Plug Research, Pnu Riff, and Plaid LP number two 
Q is for Q-Moog, a new spin on Detrot
 okay, not much competition. um.... any '97 gear from Quoit?
R is for Rastermusic - Chemitz's pride
 Req, Riou, Reflection, the great Ronnie & Clyde
S is for Soup-Disk, Silk Saw, Sternklang, and Snooze
 Spring Heel Jack, Starfish Pool - and that Sam & Valley track with the "MOO!"s
T is for Richard Thomas and TULPAS (my favorite '97 relic)
 for Teebrooke, To Rococo Rot, Tobin, Tetaz, and Trelik
U ... drawing a blank here. didn't think that i would!
 Underdog? the new Unit Moebius? 
      i haven't heard either ... but i'm sure they're both good.
V is for Vogel's blinding _All Music Has Come To An End_
 Vainqueur, Vibert, Vainio, Vapourspace, VV/M and their friends
W is for Wabi Sabi and _Water Communication_
 for Weedbeats and "Wrong" on the _Arctic Circles_ compilation
X is for eXtreme and their _Untitled [TEN]_
 from the past to the future, it all comes alive again
