later E-Mu and Digisound to my knowledge. Mine is built as a large 8 voice
poly+ nothing special- just excellent sounding and 15 VCO's (SSM 2030) work
out to be very nice. And into the  2040 filters which are still my fav. The
FM  of all those VCO's is really amazing.  There were E-mu kits that also
used this chips, a full "voice" on a board. Delicate chips, but to me the
best. Things like the 2044 (monopoly. doepfer,poly-6) are nice but so
different, the 2040 filter is my fav right after the MS-20. Not saying best
just my personal fav.
I also love the Sherman filterbank, what does it use? /topology?
