hey, don't really see much about these people on idm - or maybe i just missed it. but Holistic is a _great_ label releasing a bunch of artists out of the Isle of Wight (which is off the south coast of England, fact-fans.) They're all interconnected in a weird way and all make sorta.. umm.. well, Red Snapper meets Ozric Tentacles, I guess, wandering off into more experimental stuff at times.. Famous artists are Max Brennan (aka Fretless AZM) and also Delta T, whose new album "Lightbulb" I picked up at the weekend.. pretty damn good. I can also recommend the Pnu Riff album as being pretty smart.. Is there a Holistic website/discography around? If not, then there should be :) regards, h0l/simon. np: Terre Thaemlitz - "Taking Stock In Our Pride" (Mille Plateaux) - anyone heard this? The intellectualising of his queerness gets a bit tedious but the actual music is excellent imho.
