Thanks for recommendations, but for the archives I *think* extensive
tweeking like you would on say a sixtrack and knobby isn't possible. The
Matrix-6 will simply lock up. I thought it might just be OS 1.05, but after
a little digging I found the following which implies that you can't really
tweak live even with the latest 2.13 OS:
http://www.tcapp.com/pub/synths/oberheim_heaven/matrix6/pc1600/matrix6.txt.
Everything I've come accross points to the ability to make small edits, but
not smooth live tweaking like you would with dedicated knobs. But then
there is the Access Matrix Programmer. Anyone see one of these in action?

On a side note, anyone know who ows this site? While digging I found
http://www.tcapp.com/pub/synths/oberheim_heaven/matrix6/ which is a copy of
a page I created on http://www.matrixsynth.com that I eventually pulled
down. My page and my images. Don't know whether to be flattered or
annoyed. It's odd seeing your page copied on another site. The email link
on
http://www.tcapp.com/pub/synths/oberheim_heaven/matrix6/pc1600/matrix6.txt
gave me an undeliverable.
