I have been living in Sweden for a year and I really got into the dark
Swedish style techno by people like Thomas Krome and Cari Lekebusch. Upon
returning to Toronto I have decided to start building up a collection of
this type of stuff so that I can DJ (in addition to IDM/chillout and
jungle). The problem is that Toronto (like most places) has too many DJs
and it really hard to find the tracks you want. I especially want to get
the Countdown2000 series (a different techno artist everymonth releases an
Ep) as it seems to be a great way to start a collection. So far every
record shop seems to sell out of them before I get them. I have managed to
find Thomas Krome-January and G-Force-May. Does anyone know where I could
mail order the others in the series? I am also just starting out a DJ which
means of course I am now shopping for vinyl as opposed to Cd so again I
would like to know of a reliable place to mailorder from. CDNOW actually
has some half decent stuff. I managed to get Two Lone Swordsmen-Staydown on
vinyl from them.
