Re: [AH] MS-20 Holes in Filter Section

thanks Zoran-but check this out:

from that link:
"The signal envelope 2 sends to the VCFs has its sustain level set at
zero volts regardless of the other parameters' settings. The practical
effect of this is that if you programme a contour with the sustain set
to full and turn the VCF envelope depth control up, then nothing happens
until you turn the sustain level down, and the further down you turn it,
the more effect the whole envelope contour has -- what were Korg
thinking of?"

ok, yeah, i kinda figured that out the other day, since my new-to-me
micromoog kinda has the same thing going on with the envelopes. but
when i set the ENV2 for no hold, no attack, no decay, full sustain, and
no release, the synth should play as if the ENV2 is just a gate.

it does, kinda. but if you route the ENV2 to say, filter cutoff, there
is still a decay portion of the ENV, as if the level it reaches btwn
attack and decay is higher than the max sustain setting. maybe this is
just my ms20 being out of whack. can anyone confirm or deny this behavior?
