got some new stuff in the mail today- some very quick skimming.

plastikman-artifakts
this was supposed to be the 3rd part of the
plastikman trilogy, but hawtin was banned from the
u.s. for a while and everything got backed up. these
tracks (7) were from after musik and before consumed and
were supposed to be a continuation of minimal
tracks found on sheet one, and they are. think a blend
of sheet one and concept 1 and you are most of the
way there. the last two tracks, however, sound like they
belong on an ai3 comp.

wagon christ-tally ho
i dont get into downtempo much, but this is a little more
uptempo and focused than big soup, which i found to be
a bit sprawling. pretty straightforward gear from vibert.

2 lone swordsmen-bag of blue sparks
first purchase of 2ls stuff and sounds ok. hard to
compare to other weatherall stuff as i dont really
have any. not as intense as the track on we are reasonable people.
nice electro tinges and a vocoder on the last track. more
electonic/electro than most warp stuff of late.

arovane- 12' on din
not the usual snap/crackle/pop of
bc/din material. take funkstorung and slow
it way down. another gem for the bc crew.

crossing my fingers that this makes the 1% of reviews that are worthy of attention.
