Mike Kent had it right. The unit is the EP-6060 Dual Voice Combo Piano. The only reason I know is because I still have that old Roland catalog, dog eared from years of drooling. Mine indicates it was printed Jan 1983 . . . Reasonably extensive descriptions of all our old favorites. -Roger >OK, I've put it off this long... > >You know that picture that's all over the net of a Roland catalog >circa 1981 with that wall of 100M's, 808, 606, 303, Jupiter 8, Juno >6, MC-4, GR-300, etc etc... of course you've seen it! > >What the heck is that keyboard all the way in the foreground sitting >right above that Cube-60??? > I trust you mean the one at: http://www.synthfool.com/rolcat.jpg It's an electronic piano, the model number escapes me at the moment, maybe EP-1010 or EP-2020 or EP-3030, something like that. I've never been good at remember the models numbers of the old EP series. I played one, but that was over 10 years ago. It was actually a dual instrument, with two sound generating ciruits sound so you could layer two sounds. I think with seperate tuning, etc. and shared EQ and Chorus. Typical analog E.Piano sounds for the era (about 1980). Regards, Mike. _________________________________===========___............................ | JUPITER-8 |PERSONAL: ................. |Roland ======================================|xxxxxxxx@xxxxxxxxxx.xxx ... | oo|-.||o||-|-|oo--oooo.|.||-|-|||.||||.||||.|HOME PAGE: ................ |---------------------------------------------|www.pacificrim.net/~mikekent | o oooo oooo ooo oo [8888] oooooooo oooooooo |............................ |...xx o ___________________________________ |BUSINESS .................. |||| == |UU|UUU|UU|UUU|UU|UUU|UU|UUU|UU|UUU|| |xxxxxxxx@xxxxxxxxxx.xxx ... |_______|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||_|............................
