Don't take offense but this sounds awful. First off, I am really
skeptical of domestic major label comps. Aphrodite and Mickey Finn are
pretty much shite. They usually do pretty formulaic "jump up" drum n
bass. Which in my opinion is usually crap, but there are some good
jump up tunes here and there. If you are really into hip hop then this
might be the type of d n b that suits you. If you are more into
IDM/techno/experimental music, then you would probably dislike this
stuff as crap.

I would hope the IDM type artists would continue to try to push the
boundaries of electronic music rather than jump on some bandwagon. I
don't know how much you know about jungle, but I would suggest
checking out comps. like SOUND IN MOTION (RAM) or QUANTUM MECHANICS
(RENEGADE HARDWARE). These are really good compilations. You won't
find any rap on it, but it will give you a better idea of what is out
there in the Underground jungle scene.

Oh and if you want to hear rap type vocals get a cd that features an
MC on it. Perhaps Logical Progression 3
