for fuk sake. i don't get what some of you don't like about this
guy. is it something personal. its almost sounds like you're looking
through his mail trying to find unpayed child support notices or some
dirt you can exploit with. i think his stuff is PRIME. so many seem hung
up on these trivial little things. what's this shit about production
value.....!$&^!wha what!! i don't here a damn thing wrong with it. if
someone could explain their reasoning for this i would be a happy
listener. there isn't anything wrong w/ d'n'b if you can do it right
(which many don't seem to be able to do). Dylan's d'n'b stuff is crack,
but you kids are so hip these days, i guess you're above that shit.
his stuff is just simply good. it doesn't strain off and get lost
in varying details. everything doesn't need to be ground breaking to be
good. a lot of it is exploring things that already exist at a deeper or
more shallow level. many times you don't have to go far from home to find
something nice. its not home but its just as good or even better because
you don't have your mom harping on your ass to go wash the driveway or
trim the hedge.
