As per your question I have some info for you: Stockwell steppas: Another mini album. This is in more of a house vein but there are 2 ambient tracks an 2 jungle tracks. The vinyl version is lacking one of the jungle tracks and one of the ambient tracks. My review: Quite good. TLS takes house and makes it very interesting. Odd noises and good grooves. IMHO it is worth is just for those jungle tracks. Their interpatation of jungle is quite amazing. Is it as good as swimming not skimming? no. But none the less it is worth picking up. Lino squares: actually picked up the white label of this today. More house but not very staight forward. Nice use of odd noises and all around messing with things. I was really suprised by this release. I had heard it was a dancefloor release. Far from it. Again they take a genre and make it their own. One you did not ask about: Rude solo <another alias> - D.C. Fume: This ep is mostly electro based but it is way quirky. Odd noises, beats and repetitions. Upon first listen I did not know what to think. After repeated listens I have grown to really like it. As usual tls continues to suprise and change sounds with each recording In fact it seems that each release gets a little bit more challenging <for the most part>, which is something I am glad for. Also the ambient bits on D.C. fumes are quite good <one of the tracks is particularly disturbing>. Wish I was better at reviews but suffice to say it is well worth checking out. Also, try to check out their remixes. Especially remixes they have done for primal scream, the money penny project and ganger.
