yes, a-musik is one of my favorite labels, i've got just about all their
stuff except the first Schlampigietzer LP and 10" (anyone want to sell /
trade these !?!) look out for the next a-musik release, a 12" from
Phthalocyanine (Phthalo, former Plug Research), entitled 'Pre-Invalid'
As for fx randomiz, i'm not sure which split 12" your talking about...
maybe the holosud 12"?? Apparently he (co)runs the Geifrem label (got a
discog, lance?!)

fx randomiz discography, AFAIK- (mcgannon style):

.Jan Werner (of Mouse On Mars) & FX Randomiz- Slow CD (Gefriem)
.4[squared] logos- Ingwer/Wamdesk 7" (Gefriem)

.Holosud 12" (A-Musik)
        Holosud=Randomiz & Schlampiegitzer

        coming soon...

Remixes& Comps (i'm probably missing alot of these...)
.Schlammpeitziger- Freundlichbaracudaremix 10" (A-Musik)
        '??? [fx ramdomiz mix]'
.Microstoria- Reprovisers CD (Mille Platuaeux/Thrill Jockey)

i've been searching all over for their stuff.
Gonzi- will the website have mailorder??

>stutzpunkt wien 12 (track 6 off "ufo beobachtungen") <or, mego>

umm.... was this re-pressed on 12"?? i know that it was originally (on
mego) on LP only, but i've only seen the CD version of the or re-press...
since you have or/mego listed as the label i assume you have the repress.

well, IMHO, not enough complexity at all! i think that 12" is fucking
horrible. sorry to burst your bubbles all, but i've been meaning to post
that this record is the most derivitve piece of crap to find its way to
vinyl.. even the gescom mix wears me down. I mean, i LOVED his first 12"
to death, but this!?!?...
supposedly it's old stuff, so i don't think it's a new direction for him
or anything.

yessss.. my favorite album so far this year. even my six year old cousin
digs that shit.!! (but his twin brother doesn't)

re: Autechre Gear

i dunno if this has been mentioned, but, for what it's worth, a recent
iss of future music has an piece on ae, where they mention the Nord Lead
(we knew that) Roland R-8, MetaSynth Image->sound software, and Logic
audio, but otherwise refusing to divulge any of thier other gear. Also
included is a sample CD with Ae doing a few minute long 'extended
ambience sample from a resonance structure'.

oh.. .the new bjork single with funkstorung & u-ziq remixes is pretty
good. both artists are sort of out of form (not in a bad way, just
different from what they usually do). funkstorung seem to be shifting
from imitating 'amber' style autechre to imitating 'chiastic' style ae.
while the mu-ziq is nothing like anything he's ever done, with a sort of
skittery, distorted schematic-ish rythmic feel, lush strings, and bjorks
vocals randomly distorted. plus the sencond single has a remix from
'bjeck' aka beck ;-)
