Just wanted to let people know about an outstanding first release from one
of our list members. (He's much too modest to post this himself.) This
isn't intended as an ad. I'll be happy to sell it, but I would also be
happy to have people order it directly from John -- I'd just like to see it
get the attention it deserves, always a problem for a CD without a popular
label behind it. Anyway, if you're interested, you can get it from me or
directly from John (xxxxxxxx_xx@xxxxxxxxx.xxx) (price is the same from
either source: $12)

Efofex "Proof" CD
This is an exciting first release from John Talbert (aka Efofex). This
release resembles the likes of Richie Hawtin's "Plastikman" work as well as
hints of Atom Heart's production techniques. Definitely one to own if
you're into minimal techno that constantly evolves in and out of itself.
Quality home grown electronica. Here's a description (in his own words)
of this first release: Works within this collection represent the first
public unveiling of the private musical experiments of John Talbert.
Besides common electronic paraphernalia, the entire CD was includes a
respectable measure of effects gathered from various sources including
short wave radio spurts, bent voices and the like. The long term vision is
to coalesce more of the sounds of the twisted norm with the rhythm and
emotion of the synthetic. All done in the interest of science. Track Listing:
1. particle 101
2. why did logan run?
3. 2 terms
4. column
5. erratik
6. vertical
7. blahp
8. 11010001
9. sick cricket
10. subtracted
11. safteyville (bonus track. Composed with B.Jensen)
