as dan pointed out, pioneer cdj-100's are the industry
standard workhorse cd decks with pitch control. i've had
mine for a couple of years and they make me happy.
i am also very happy with their front-loading nature,
their portability, and their simple interface.
the other pioneers (apart from the 1000's) all top-load,
and that makes a big WHUNK when you are changing cds during
chill sets. it's sort of distracting in any situation.
