It has the perfect blend of creative idm and dark atmospheres with just a hint of experimental chaos. In places it is somewhat like the phthalocyanine releases but no where near as crazy. Think more along the lines of "atmospherics-era" james bernard mixed with the Lustmord vs Metalbeast stuff. The cd has twelve tracks including one remix by phthalocyanine. The full tracklisting is on the phthalo label website at: http://pivotonline.com/Phtdiscog.html In case you didn't know, Crank is the work of Danny Zelonski aka Low Res. Low Res will have another new cd out on Plug Research in a few weeks called: Approximate Love Boat - Mistaken alien interpretations of earth music. This fourteen track cd is another idm gem that you will all be cooing over very soon. Full recoreviews of both the Crank and Low Res cds coming later this week. -->-Lance--- p.o. box 450715 westlake, ohio 44145 united states
