I think my first non-"kiddie" record was probably the Beatles' Blue Album (the second greatest hits) on blue vinyl no less. This got played a lot on my Fisher-Price record Player back in tha day. First post-Fisher-Price record: Mannheim Steamroller, "Fresh Aire II". I had a tape of III someone gave me and I just dug it to death. First CD: Eurythmics' "Sweet Dreams". Came with my Sony D-5 discman for Christmas. First CD I bought with my own money: Jean-Michel Jarre's "The Concerts In China". Still have it, still listen to it all the time. Might upgrade now that it's out on one CD, though... First IDM, as such: 808 State "Pacific" 12" -- though this came after listening to a lot of Art of Noise, Colourbox, Yello, and WaxTrax stuff. -- ::: Lazlo (xxxxx@xxxx.xxx; http://www.swcp.com/lazlo) ::: Internet Music Wantlists: http://www.swcp.com/lazlo/Wantlists
