i have had SO MANY questions about the status of this record, i decided
it was best to use the list to reach as many people as possible. hope
this is ok with all of you

so, here is the story...

andy from skam wont sell direct to just about anyone in the united
states(including me). the only distributor he will use over here is
located on the west coast. he has lost ALL distribution in the uk
completely because he is too difficult to deal with, and they dont press
enough copies to make it worthwhile to the distributors .(thats the
story i have been told anyways).

they were supposed to be sent from heathrow airport to california 2
months ago. my distributor even listed it on the fax that week because
he was SUPPOSED to get it. it turns out that andy handed over the
records to the old freight forwarder that the distributor used to use.
the distributor and that company are having a fued so i am told because
they were being ripped off on freight charges. they decided to switch
over to another company which set off the mini war. well, the old
freight company absolutely refuses to give the records up to the new
company and they say that they will have to be sued to hand them over.

so...

that means since there are supposed to be 500 copies in the world, about
300 of them are sitting somewhere in london. andy won't return ANYONES
phone calls, including mine or the distributors,(+ a few notable record
labels he has dealings with) so not much i can do at this stage. he is
famous for his reclusive nature so to speak.

the only place i know of that has any is in england, and they happen to
be down the street from andy's house so he hand delivers them.

thats the story from what i can gather. hope it clears up some of the
confusion. one day i will see these damned things for myself
