that 12" is fucking brilliant, if i say so, it's the essential idm record
that no one on idm owns. There's something about randomiz's quirky pop
mixed with schlam...'s experimentalism it's really idm, yet with the quirky
a-musik appeal. Try and find it quick, cuz i believe it's limited to 900,
and it's been out for several months already. The album should be a killer.

btw, my copy says 'cover g' on the label, was this issued with different
sleeves like the earlier schlampigietzer 12"s??

yeah, too bad it's just a 12" version of all tracks previously on the "Navy
Warship" CD...

actually, the Kim Cascone album, titled 'BlueCube()' will be released in
November on RASTERmusic, you got yer musics mixed up. ;-) supposedly
involves some sort of random computer generative music... there's a web
site @ http://www.sirius.com/~anechoic go to the blue cube section for a
whole bunch of codes and things, but it's all gibberish to me since my
knowledge of programming doesn't go much further than html. It should be
very intersting, though. Taken from the ambient list::

"this project started as the result of an article/music I wrote for a book
coming out on MIT Press about Csound (a Music N sound synthesis language)...
the CD could be best described as atmospheric computer music and happens to
be more in the style of my work with PGR..."

i could be wrong, but i thought i remeber reading somewhere that some
idm-type musicians would be remixing this, but don't hold me to that.
