You could look at the MBF-Synth 3, I spent a long time with one at Musikmesse yesterday and am buying one asap. It's extremely small and compact and sounds lovely (from what I could tell from the noisey show floor). I could do a quick writeup of my Musikmesse impressions some time, I played a lot of new synths on display there. Bonus crappy quality pics, left camera at home :( http://i270.photobucket.com/albums/jj89/Shudder11/mbf1.jpg http://i270.photobucket.com/albums/jj89/Shudder11/mbf2.jpg ----- Original Message ----- From: "xxxx xxxxx" <xxxxxxxxx@xxxxxxx.xxx> To: <xxxxxxxx@xxxxxxxxx.xxx> Sent: Saturday, March 15, 2008 5:35 PM Subject: RE: [AH] WTB: Korg MS-50 in US Well, this is for neither collecting purposes, or to complement my MS setup (as I have no other units aside from an X-911). Just Looks ideal for a simple all-in-one modular unit... Hence, at some price point (what the auction is at), it would probably make more sense for me to look towards modern gear to achieve a similar effect. > From: xxxxxx@xxx.xxxxxxxx.xx > To: xxx-xxxxx@xxxxxx.xx; xxxxxxxx@xxxxxxxxx.xxx > Date: Sat, 15 Mar 2008 16:34:40 +0200 > Subject: RE: [AH] WTB: Korg MS-50 in US > > > No hidden reason at all. > I have used the korg ms50 for years and know it very well. > just a collector thing... > > > Bakis Sirros - Parallel Worlds / Interconnected / Memory Geist > > www.parallel-worlds-music.com > > www.myspace.com/parallelworldsmusic > > www.myspace.com/interconnectedmusic > > www.myspace.com/memorygeist > > www.DiN.org.uk > > www.shimarecords.co.uk > > www.musicamaximamagnetica.com > > www.rubber.gr > > [doepfer_a100] group owner > > Athens - Greece > > > > > -----Original Message----- > From: Andre Majorel [mailto:xxx-xxxxx@xxxxxx.xx] > Sent: Saturday, March 15, 2008 3:42 PM > To: xxxxxxxx@xxxxxxxxx.xxx > Subject: Re: [AH] WTB: Korg MS-50 in US > > On 2008-03-15 15:00 +1100, David Bulog wrote: > > From: David Bulog <xxxx@xxxx.xx.xx> > > > > > > http://cgi.ebay.com/Korg-MS-50-MS50-vintage-modular-FREE-shipping_W0QQit > emZ260219187273QQihZ016QQcategoryZ38071QQrdZ1QQssPageNameZWD2VQQcmdZView > Item?_trksid=p1638.m122 > > > free shipping $1825 > > > > That is a great price BTW --i would almost buy it myself for my > > MS-20 /SQ-10 system > > That's quite expensive for 1 VCO, 1 VCF, 2 EG, 1 LFO and a bunch > of simple voltage processors.
