but there's a different between having "composer's block" / whipping up some
wankcakes and actually releasing the stuff. i do know about that zone you
speak of--when things are on a roll. personally i dont track anything when
i'm not in the mood to get something good done. well sometimes i do but i
never finish it if i know it's starting to turn to shitlo.. most people pick
from loads (even a ton, in afx's case, so he says) of tracks they are
satisfied with to make an album or an EP.. i don't think autechre would
release something they don't believe they put 100.0% effort into
(grammar...bad.. lazy).
