Boogie Down Productions first album was "Criminally Minded" released in
1987, though I've a feeling that singles such as "The Bridge Is Over" were
released in 1986. Also Boogie Down Productions call themselves BDP as a
common abbreviation throughout the record whereas Black Dog Productions
don't...

For bonus points: KRS-1's first record was a Mantronix production under the
name 12:41 called "Success Is The Word" (cool record, even has smurf voices
on it); the instrumental of KRS's "Step Into a World" is the one record
that you can bet that Matt Black and Coldcut will play whenever they DJ!
