> np: Global Communication: 76:14 ( aaaaahhhh, great at 9:30 am ) Yeah, but only if you've been up all night! :-) Just picked up a 2x12" promo of the new Global single 'The Groove' (which is out properly this week as well). It still remains in the vein of the last single The Way/The Deep, but with a real 'live' sound (they got a bit of a band together). Essential its a bit of a Masters At Work rip-off, but a good one all the same. Good-time funky disco house music. Doesn't rock as much as the MAW remixes of Atmosphere's 'Dancing In Outer Space' but it's nice and on a more relaxed tip. The promo version has a few more DJ bits and pieces on there including an instrumental version of The Groove, a minute or so of the intro reversed (?!), bonus housey drumming and an accapella of the main vocal. Altogther very poppy and not for everyone. Reminds me of Yazz a bit, but don't let this put you off - dig the funky bass! The Global boys also have partake in the Jockey Slut Fax questionaire this month, and manage adorn it with lots of computerised gibberish and plugs for their labels...
