for those that might have missed this uber-rare event, SHAME ON YOU!!! pita put on an all-too-brief set with some gorgeous sweeping crunches, pops, and thumps; fennesz put together one of the most engaging sound collages i've heard perhaps ever - tons of gritty effects, pretty sample melodies, and cut-up start-stops that leave your head hanging on the next pulse. if these guys come to your hometown, see the show. i asked fennesz if he'd be coming through this way soon, and he said "no", so looks like dry times round here for a while. sigh.
