Hi all, just my two cents to the subject, - I second the opinion of Andre=E9 and would check the power supply = (especially the capacitors) - Also I would check for broken edge connecters which is the most common = issue with the PSs. This even if I do not think that this is the origin = of the described issue. Nevertheless it also might be part of it. Good luck, Peter Greetings, Werner=20 =A6 -----Original Message----- =A6 From: Florian Anwander [mailto:xxxxxxx.xxxxxxxx@xxxxxx.xx]=20 =A6 Sent: Monday, May 09, 2005 9:19 AM =A6 To: ben vehorn =A6 Cc: xxxxxxxx@xxxxxxxxx.xxx =A6 Subject: Re: [AH] Korg PS-3300 help? =A6=20 =A6=20 =A6 Hi Ben=20 =A6=20 =A6 > I didn't think the 3300 had any sort of CPU??? =A6 It does not have to be a uP; any other kind of digital chip=20 =A6 may do something like that. A berserk counter or multiplexer=20 =A6 or demultiplexer may cause similar effects. =A6=20 =A6 Of course it does not have to be a chip, also a corroded=20 =A6 connector is a possible cause. Basically the thermal=20 =A6 responsiveness (does this word exist?) is evident from the=20 =A6 description. =A6=20 =A6 Florian =A6=20
