i always took the intelligent in idm to refer to the fact that the music
deals more with the emotional side of electronic music, provoking thought,
reflection, etc. vs. moving your bod. so intelligent referring to matters of
the intellect or the mind, as opposed to intellegent meaning 'we are super
elite'. maybe i'm stretching, but as with anything else, it's all about the
context.
