(idm) mysterious world of Red Snapper

While listening to Prince Blimey for the first time in many moons today
(yes, I know it all runs together) (the sentence, that is) I was struck
by curious observation. The 11th track, "Gridlock", while beautiful and
swirly and pulsing-blah-blah-blah, shares a marked similarity to the
melody from (and I'm showing my roots baldly) Genesis' "The Brazilian"
off of The Invisible Touch album. As incredulous as it may seem, take a
listen and at 2:30 in the song the questionable melody appears. Perhaps
David, Ali and company are showing THEIR roots.

Just goes to show the wily tentacles of IDM twist and turn into every
corner.

Very bored and convinced that the humor content on this list is not up to
par,

J

PS - the real reason for this post is to find out whatever happened to
the tour I read Red Snapper were supposed to take in North America
sometime - am I merely mistaken in that it already happened or is it
still to occur? Please forgive me, I live in the South, ya'll.

np: Genesis' The Invisible Touch to be followed very soon by Abacab. Or
maybe not.

"it's nooo fun, being a illegal aaaleee-un"
