(idm) Toneburst

Toneburst is based in the Boston area -- a loose collective of
electronic/experimental artists that also delve into the visual arts . . .
The few shows / installments I've seen have been impressive  and
entertaining . . . The dj lineup is constantly rotating and they have a few
releases out . . 

You should probably start with Toneburst Collective comp. cd (i think that's
the title): a nice sampler of their sounds ranging from ambient grooves, to
skittering drum n bass, to dub to general sound/noise collages.

One of the artists (dj C, i think) released "Herbanism" under the moniker
Electro Organic Sound System (or something along those lines) . . .there's
some quality material there with more drum n bass, dub, ambient pieces.

Also they've scheduled an event this wkend in Worcester, MA:

at The Space in worcester.
$5 with a canned good (donated to food not bombs),

all ages.
