Also any > recommendations for mics would be appreciated as well. I have a Sony MZ-R50 and it's awesome (although no longer a current model). Avoid the R55 at all costs. Sharp makes some nice models, as does Aiwa. http://www.minidisc.org/ is a *VERY* thorough resource and alt.audio.minidisc is helpful too. They should be good starting points. As for mics, I don't know. I'm still researching them myself. Try these links out: http://www.core-sound.com//mics.html http://www.soundprofessionals.com/binaural.htm http://www.dimensional.com/~reasoner http://www.sonicstudios.com http://members.aol.com/rhcp9876/microphones.html http://www.arches.uga.edu/~tidmarsh/binmic.html > And as far as IDM content goes... I guess that means I have to provide some IDMish stuff too... For anyone who cares, I bought the em:t 2000 2xCD compilation today (used). It's my first taste of em:t and I'm pretty satisfied so far. Disc 1 is far better... xxxxxxxxx@xxxx.xxx
