I picked this up a couple days ago and am almost done with disc 1. Good to
hear some fresh versions of some really old skool classix. Not much has
been done to really improve upon the tracks, which means that a lot of the
original sound is maintained in these tracks. Some synth washes here and
there which I know weren't in the originals, and some nice effects overlays
while mixing and cutting up. I even heard the pop 'n click of vinyl toward
the end of one of the tracks.

Basically, if you have any of the electro comps that have come out in recent
times, like the Rhino comp, Tommy Boy's Greatest Beats, etc, then I would
wholeheartedly recommend this set. Some really good talent tackle a great
era that basically served as the inspiration for much of the electronica
of today.
