Yeah.
I guess pretty much everything's been said here concerning D.H.S. I've
written a D.H.S. discography, so if anyone's interested please get in touch
with me and I'll send it out to you (it's in text form).
One note about the _House Of God Remixes_ 2x12" on Missle... it was
indeed an illegal and unauthorized release where Ben Stokes received
absolutely nothing (no credit, no royalties... nothing). Supposedly this
record was released to help promote a club's opening. The club (in England
somewhere?) was called "The House Of God" inappropriately enough. A total
rip-off and an awful release at that. The remixes were horrible, so I
don't even know why they bothered.
There's also another (unauthorized) D.H.S. record on Missle Records
called D.H.S. vs. DJ Slip. I've never seen this one, but they're really
milking poor Ben Stokes, hm?
As far as what's still available out there... nothing unfortunately.
It's all been out of print for years. I'm assuming shops near Chicago will
be your best bet as Hangman Records probably dumped a lot of D.H.S. records
and cds locally. As Pietro mentioned though, keep your eyes peeled for
