Well, he's a little bit disco and they're a little bit jazz (cept for
Herbert) but I still think they'd work well together. "Chocolate Chords" is
a great album, much better than Cassius or most of the other major-label
nu-Euro-house crowd (though I haven't heard his others). Some of my other
house favorites recently:

1. Basement Jaxx (think it's getting a domestic release)
2. House of 909
3. Housey Doingz
4. Terrence Parker (look for the mix album too!)
5. New Van Helden EP's not bad...

And a coupla my personal classics:

1. Mr. Fingers - Classic Fingers
2. Tony Humphries - Take Home the Club
3. Larry Levan - Paradise Garage
4. Spooky - Gargantuan
5. Ummm, there's a bunch I'm not thinking of...

Speaking of house, has anyone heard the Todd Terry LP on Astralwerks? I'm
very tempted...
