I use a combination of things some of which is easier to get ahold of than others: Arp Sequencer Wiard Sequantizer TR707->simmons TM1 trigger to midi convertor Doepfer MAQ16/3 (recently sold) Kenton Pro2 midi CV box being run from: MMT8, Q80, and the occasional PC program. Sometimes if I'm feeling frisky I trick the Doepfer custom A100 mixer modules into acting like a sequencer with the A160/161 by patching 'em all up in a weird way. Voila! Instant four note analog sequencer! If I were to start from scratch and a PC was a possibility I'd get a kenton Pro2000 or similar midi-CV box, an MSQ100, and a copy of Jim Johnson's Seq303 program for windows. Best damn Analog sequencer I've ever seen IMO. The MSQ100 goes for $100 and will give you midi in/2 outs and din sync in/out for any application you'd want. The Kenton has a trigger out to sync something like a Pro One or Sh101, as well as the CV/gate and a few other assignable outs. This is a very flexible setup. > Or are you all just extremely talented keyboardists and multitrack everything? I don't know about the talent part but I usually multitrack everythying anyway. I don't like computers :) ----------------------------------------------------------------------- HELP WANTED PRODUCTIONS - Http://www.voicenet.com/~legion "Bringing you the best in Organic Electronic music since we started..."
