Any info appreciated. >> Sounds to me like "The Synthesizer & Electronic Keyboard Handbook" by David Crombie. I've got a pretty worn copy that I enjoy flipping through from time to time. It has some nice shots of SH-101's (grey and blue), MC-202, MiniMoog, Prophet T8, OSCar, System-100M, Juno 106/6, Trident MkII, Emulator, DX7, Fairlight, and some others. It's a pretty informative book, I got it when I was a bit younger and learned a great deal from it. There's nothing I would call slagging of Numan, the remark I think you're refering to is more like this: "Gary Numan will always be associated with solo string lines over gothic rhythm tracks. His use of instrumentation and his rather nasal vocals make his work instantly recognizable.". It touches on pretty much everyone important to electronic keys and synths from Keith Emerson onward. It was published by Alfred A. Knopf, New York, 1984. ISBN 0-394-72711-8 Later Ryan
