But recently I tried to go the way Doepfer goes with their A100-PSU3: Use a switching powersupply with higher voltage output and then add a linear regulator. I needed +12/-12/+5, so I used a traco TMP30515 and added the usual 78xx/79xx regulators for the 12V lines. It works like charm and requires less space than two torroidal transformers. But I have to admit, that I don't know whether suitable switching powersupplies for voltages over 15V exist. Florian
